It’s been nearly a year since we opened our brewery in downtown San Antonio. As we began producing our beer, fans have been very supportive and our distribution began to quickly increase. With the assistance of beer distributer Ben E. Keith Beverages and our own brewery’s sales force, 2016 saw the company launch towards our first statewide release with Buffalo Wild Wings. Resulting in our introduction into the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
Buffalo Wild Wings, the casual dining restaurant and sports bar, which specializes in chicken wings and sauces will carry ALAMO Golden Ale on draught. The eatery, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, will have ALAMO Beer in 62 Texas locations. As of 2015, Buffalo Wild Wings had 1,070 restaurants across the United States.
“It’s no secret that the craft beer industry is growing and customers are looking for more local options,” stated Eugene Simor, president of Alamo Beer Company. “It’s also important to have a quality product that people will want to drink. Being a part of Buffalo Wild Wings is important for us and we know that patrons will enjoy our beer,” concluded Simor.
We are located a half-a-mile, from the “Shrine of Texas Liberty” – The Alamo. The brewery, beer hall and beer garden are open to visitors Thursday through Sunday. Tours are available. Visit alamobeer.com for more details.
