Alamo Beer Announces 2022 Annual Oktoberfest Schedule and Menu

SAN ANTONIO,  October 2022 — Alamo Beer Co., home to San Antonio’s legendary craft beer, is proud to announce its annual Oktoberfest celebration from Wednesday, October 19 to Sunday, October 23, 2022.

This Oktoberfest features five days of regional, live music and food celebrating German and South Texas heritage. Thursday, October 20, features a special music night called “Ska-toberfest” dedicated to ska music and bringing local favorites Rat King Cole (4-6pm) and Spies Like Us (7-9pm). Friday and Saturday feature unique bands with their twist on the German traditional sound, including The Hot Peppers (6-9pm on Friday), and an all-saxophone band playing authentic German polkas called Reed Meisters (1-4pm on Saturday). Of course, no regional Oktoberfest is complete without an appearance by the Beethoven Maennerchor (5-6pm on Saturday). Both nights are finished out with Chris Rybak, The Accordion Cowboy.

The restaurant in the beer hall kicks into a special, German gear by offering a completely different menu during these five days. The entire menu is available to view online, but we can say it includes Pretzels, Turkey Legs, Würstl, Bier Braised Sauerkraut, Jägerschnitzel, Gurkensalat, Scheiterhaufen, and much more!

On the large brewery grounds, this FREE fest includes lawn games, vendors’ market on Sunday, and more at this beloved, annual fest. Lots of free parking for this family-(and dog) friendly event just minutes from downtown San Antonio.

The brewery and beer hall sits beneath the historic Hays Street Bridge in East Downtown San Antonio and boasts plenty of outdoor seating, mouthwatering food and beer menu, free parking, lawn games, and more. The event is free and open to the public.
